On April 3, 2008, Howard University’s Systems and Computer Science Department and Nomedik Holdings LLC, along with Shruti S. Costales and Tremesha S. Willis from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, were in attendance at the first Genius Federation seminar of the semester at Howard University. This seminar focused on “Genius Federation: An Online Virtual Network that Facilitates Crowd Sourcing While Protecting Ideas and Promoting Technology Transfer.”
Howard University seniors Patrick M. Jackson and Tiffani A. Bell – both lead computer science engineers on the project – gave an engaging demonstration regarding the functionality of the Genius Federation portal. Mr. Jackson and Ms. Bell demonstrated how the Genius Federation portal will enhance the process of innovation amongst participating university members. The seminar concluded with Ms. Bell and Mr. Jackson thanking students, faculty, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, and Nomedik Holdings LLC for their encouragement and support. – Photos taken by Kelli Anderson of Sojournals.com
